This is my first of joining a photo challenge, and i hope the firsts of the many. The subject of the challenge is to capture photos which depict direction, or anything that relates to it. May it be streets, bridges, stairs, road signs, lanes, aisles, and many many more.

World Environment Day (WED) is the United Nations’ principal vehicle for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the environment. To stimulate worldwide awareness of environmental issues and encourages political action, United Nations chose the 5th of June as a day to commemorate it.
Within the UAE and the region, it is the Emirates Wildlife Society – WWF or EWS-WWF that work with people and institutions to conserve biodiversity, tackle climate change and reduce the ecological footprint through education, awareness, policy, and science-based conservation initiatives.
Bringing you a photo freshly taken from the Jebel Hafeet mountain that rises 1,249 metres (4,098 ft) and offers an impressive view over the city.
Jebel Hafeet was a well-known landmark throughout the area’s history and is a contemporary tourist attraction.
